National Single Parents Day is an American holiday dedicated to single parents. We should support these people and thank them for not giving up on their child and trying their best to raise him. It is celebrated annually on March 21.

History

The history of National Single Parents Day is not reliably known. Single parents used to appear for very understandable reasons: epidemics raged, there were wars, and sometimes deaths from starvation were simply recorded. Because of the low level of medicine, mothers could die in childbirth. The child’s upbringing then fell entirely on the father, or the child was taken in by acquaintances or complete strangers.

In today’s world, parents become single when one partner dies or simply leaves the family.
