Stassi has a lot of followers, and they are always interested in what outfits the star wears daily. #OOTD is her favorite hashtag. In June 2018, the idea came up to create a special holiday in honor of this hashtag.

To make the holiday national, Stassi had to file a petition, pay a fee, and develop a website specifically for it. She went through all the procedures to gain official recognition for National OOTD Day, on June 30th.
