History

The origin of the brownie is a surprisingly interesting story. Apparently, this favorite cake was created by accident! One of the versions suggests that a housewife, due to fatigue, forgot to add baking powder to the dough. When she was ready to bake it, the woman noticed the mistake and instead of throwing it away, she put it in the refrigerator. The next morning, her family tried the cake and were delighted, asking for more.

It’s not the first time that a mistake in the kitchen has led to something wonderful, and the real brownie era began from that moment. It is worth noting that the cake is prepared in a large rectangular shape and then cut into pieces – cakes.
