World Inclusion Day

World Inclusion Day is held annually on October 10th, aiming to create a harmonious and inclusive society that does not divide people based on health, gender, race, nationality, age, etc. Everyone is entitled to a free and safe existence, and we can all join together to build respectful and friendly relationships!

History

World Inclusion Day was founded by many organisations, including the Garden Foundation, dedicated to helping people with disabilities. Their mission is to create an environment in which disabled people can be happy, independent and free.

We should embrace diversity and appreciate our planet, which is full of different cultures and individuals. The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us the importance of social connections for our wellbeing.

Interesting facts

  • Businesses with gender-diverse workplaces have higher financial returns than those catering to just one gender.
  • Despite the involvement of all parties, the mission of the holiday is not always successful.
  • In 2006, a system was created to prevent bullying.

How to take part

You can join the holiday by making friends with people from different backgrounds. Get to know their culture and traditions by listening to international music, watching movies or even visiting a place. Lend a hand to organisations that are part of this mission and become part of the movement to change the world!
