Batman Day is in honor of the famous superhero. Batman has been around for over 80 years. Celebrated every third Saturday in September.

History

Batman first appeared in Detective Comics, which was published in 1939. He quickly gained popularity, and the film adaptation was not long in coming, with the first film released in 1943. Every year the character gained more and more popularity among young people, and the number of purchased comics grew steadily. New films and series were released.

The first Batman Day celebration took place on July 23, 2014, which coincided with the annual Comic-Con entertainment event. At that time, the black-caped superhero was celebrating his 75th birthday. Visitors to this event were able to enjoy the best cosplay of characters from the superhero universe, and purchase rare editions of comics and unique goods.

People liked the image of Batman because of its simplicity and humanity. He actively opposes crime in Gotham while remaining human. He is considered a superhero, but he is devoid of any unusual abilities like other characters (Spider-Man or Catwoman, for example).
