World Quality Day is celebrated every year on the second Thursday of the last autumn month. In 2022, it falls on November 10th. A holiday with the aim of raising awareness of private entrepreneurs, organizations and companies about the high quality standards necessary to achieve financial well-being and prosperity. The first holiday was held in London in 2008, since then it has become an annual event.
Each year, the Certified Institute for Quality determines a specific theme for the holiday. For example, “Sustainability – how to improve products and people” or “Creating value for customers”. The Institute was founded in 1919 and is a professional body whose activities are aimed at improving the quality of goods, products and services. Today, the organization has more than 20 thousand members. This is the only organization in the world that has the right to award a person the status of “Chartered Quality Specialist”, in addition, its employees control the International Register of Certified Auditors.
One of the tasks of the organization is to work with organizations and the manufacturer in order to improve the quality of products. The first event dedicated to Quality Day took place on November 13, 2008 in London.
- The organization sees its mission as follows – a world where all organizations prosper, produce a product that is valuable for the consumer and all interested parties.
- The quality management system has four fundamental components – quality planning, quality assurance, quality control, quality improvement.
- If a person wants to become a quality specialist, he must have relevant work experience, be trained, and have three goals of continuous professional development.
How to celebrate
