National Save the Eagles Day is dedicated to the unique predators that inhabit our land. Majestic birds conquer with strength and grace… When they are gliding in the air, it seems to us that they are relaxed, and nature gives them everything they need for a comfortable stay. But is it so?
History
Some time ago, eagles were on the verge of extinction, but thanks to the well-coordinated efforts of conservationists, they were saved in 2007. Later, bird protection communities created a National Day to save several eagle species whose habitats had deteriorated. The activists succeeded, but they decided to keep the holiday and expand its scope—today it affects all types of eagles and extends across the entire United States. Other countries with similar conservation issues also participate.
