National Inner Beauty Day is every year on October 7th. This holiday raises awareness of pressing issues such as human trafficking and superficial standards of beauty. It encourages people to embrace their inner values and recognize the beauty of their inner world.
History
National Inner Beauty Day was founded in 2018. It was intentionally scheduled to coincide with the release of the movie “Human Trafficking,” which shocked many and encouraged them to take part in the event. Unfortunately, the movie is not fiction – human trafficking is a huge problem with countless victims.
The purpose of the holiday is to draw attention to the inner world of people, which is often overlooked. Media bombards us with the message that we must look a certain way to be considered beautiful. The Inner Beauty Challenge team and its supporters reject this standard and want to show that true beauty lies within us.
Interesting facts
