Barney is a purple dinosaur who has become a true friend to many kids. He was created by designer Sheryl Leach and introduced in the famous show “Barney & Friends”. Leach created his image to engage her son in educational programs. Initially, a bear was planned for his role, but her child had a great love for dinosaurs.

Despite the fact that these are beloved characters who gave a lot of love to kids, their era has passed. Today, there are many other interesting characters that children know and love.
