Celebrated on July 8, SCUD Day literally means “Savor the Comic, Unplug the Drama.” This holiday encourages you to let go of the drama in your life for the sake of your physical and mental well-being. Instead, it promotes calm, positivity, and a good sense of humor.
History
SCUD Day was created by Stephanie West Allen in 2007. A lawyer with extensive legal experience, Allen knew better than most the importance of taking a break from stressful situations. She also launched a biweekly bulletin offering advice on how to unwind and escape everyday worries.
