History
The Twilight Zone first appeared on television on October 2, 1959. Each episode featured different fantastic events, blending fantasy, drama, suspense, and fear. The series quickly gained popularity, capturing the audience’s imagination.
The creator, producer, head writer, and host was Rod Serling. The series aired on television until 1964, during which time 156 black-and-white episodes were produced. After a long hiatus, The Twilight Zone returned in 1985. The show then ran until 1989, with 110 episodes filmed in color. There was another break in production until 2002, after which 44 more episodes were released. On April 1, 2019, season 4 of The Twilight Zone was released.
