National Hot Tub Day is an annual American holiday dedicated to hot tubs. It is celebrated on March 28. Nowadays, whirlpool baths are very popular. For the sake of water relaxation, people visit spas, and those who have the financial means, install such devices at home. The whirlpool allows you to enjoy the relaxing effect of hot water, as well as get full-body relaxation from the movement of water jets.
History
Bathtubs have been known to mankind since the ancient world. We know from written sources that the Persian king Phraortes, who lived in the 600s BC, ordered a tub of solid granite from craftsmen. Many ancient healers believed in the healing properties of hot water, so the bath became an obligatory attribute of wealthy people and rulers in particular. In ancient Rome, hot baths were popular among legionaries who were recovering from wounds.
In the 17th century, the Frenchman Levele made the first metal tub, which came with a boiler for heating water. This invention not only led to the creation of modern baths but also became the ancestor of contemporary water heating systems.
The breakthrough in bath production came in the 1960s when Candido Jacuzzi invented the first whirlpool bath. Initially, it was bought by various medical institutions, but later the bath became popular in wealthy society. Users came to love it for the great relaxing effect achieved by hot water and jets of water discharged from special openings with a hidden pump.
Interesting facts

How to celebrate
Take a hot bath that day. You can supplement the relaxing water treatment with aromatic oils or other water additives (sea salt, for example). You can also visit a spa to enjoy relaxing in a hot tub.
Spread the word on social media. Ask other users what kind of tub they have in their home: regular or whirlpool?
