Celebrate Scientists Day coincides with Albert Einstein’s birthday. It is not only dedicated to this genius in the scientific world, but also applies to all people who devote their lives to science. Thanks to the work of scientists, we were able to learn more about our planet, to get answers to questions previously shrouded in mystery. New discoveries have improved society: for example, when it comes to medicine or engineering (telephones, home appliances, etc.).

Many historians consider Aristotle the first scientist, whose writings were in demand for many centuries to come. Thanks to Newton’s work, the Law of Universal Gravitation was discovered, which was a real revolution in physics. Charles Darwin created an evolutionary theory that answered the universal question, “Where did man come from?”

• Albert Einstein became famous for his Theory of Relativity. He also laid the foundations of quantum physics. In all that time he produced more than three hundred works in physics and more than 150 works in other disciplines.
• Newton remained in the shadows for a long time. He did not publish his discoveries until more than ten years later, after constant entreaties from his acquaintance, the explorer Edmund Halley.
• Louis Pasteur in the 1860s created a method of food processing, pasteurization, which played a huge role in the food industry.
